A Story Unfolded Through Melodies
On a particularly special day at the exhibition, the stillness of the space was gently stirred as a guest’s fingertips brushed across the electric piano keys. The delicate tones that followed seemed to breathe life into the artworks, as if translating the visual language of Textile Art into sound.
As the soft, clear notes filled the room, each piece on display appeared to come alive. Within the flowing melody, we were reminded that art is not confined to the realm of the visual—it resonates like music, awakening the senses and delivering a profound emotional experience that transcends time and space.
전시를 찾은 어느 특별한 순간
정적 속, 한 사람의 손끝이 건반 위를 스치며 울려 퍼졌습니다. 일렉 피아노의 섬세한 선율은 마치 전시 작품의 숨결을 담아내듯, 섬유가 이야기를 전하는 방식에 새로운 생명을 불어 넣었습니다. 피아노의 맑고 부드러운 음이 공간을 채울 때, 작품 하나하나가 살아 숨쉬듯했고, 예술이 단지 시각적 표현에만 머무르지 않고, 음악처럼 우리의 감각을 일깨우고, 시공간을 넘나드는 감동을 선사한다는 것을 느꼈습니다.
Performer Profile
Graduated from Seoul National University (B.S.) and completed graduate studies in piano at the same institution. Furthered her education at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Regent College (Vancouver, Canada), Torch Trinity Graduate School of Theology, and YWAM Kona.
She taught as a lecturer at Seoul National University from 1995 to 2000 and actively worked as a performing artist. She also served as CEO of Art Communications. from 2013 to 2022, contributing to the field of performing arts planning.
